The Parliamentary Ombudsman report on my case has been published. It says that the Honorary Consulate in Bali actually instigated the Australians to evacuate me. I do not accept that! I am very disappointed with the conclusions of the report and I feel no further towards the truth. My views are based on what other British survivors and hospital volunteers have told me.  But those statements have counted for nothing towards the report.

But at least I have tried to do something about it. I am the only person in the UK Bali Bombing Victim’s group to complain to the Ombudsman. Bottling up feelings doesn’t do any good and I feel better for doing what I’ve done. I have made my accusations and I’m sticking to them.

I look forward to the day when I see British Nationals actually being evacuated out of a disaster area by British resources. I will not rest until I witness that. Out of all the disasters that have happened since Bali 2002, I have not seen what I want to see.
